Overview:

On Saturday, November 24^th, the (10-1) Oklahoma Sooners will be on the road to take on the (8-2) West Virginia Mountaineers.

The Crowd:

The Crowd projects a final score of Oklahoma 40.4 – West Virginia 37.0 with an over/under of 77.3.

Lou is predicting a final score of Oklahoma 52 – West Virginia 38.

Strength of Schedule:

Oklahoma is (10-1) with wins over Florida Atlantic, UCLA, Iowa State, Army, Baylor, TCU, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, and Kansas.  Their lone defeat was a 48-45 loss to rival #19 Texas in week six.

West Virginia is (8-2) with victories over Tennessee, Youngstown State, Kansas State, #25 Texas Tech, Kansas, Baylor, #17 Texas, and TCU.  They were defeated by Iowa State in week seven and Oklahoma State last Saturday.

Betting Trends: 

-Oklahoma is 4-7 against the spread this season while West Virginia is 5-3-1.

Oklahoma is 10-1 against the over/under this season whereas West Virginia is 5-4.

Bottom Line

Oklahoma enters the game leading the nation in scoring and have scored over 40 points in seven straight games.  West Virginia is coming off a heartbreaking loss to Oklahoma State that all but ended their playoff hopes.  Obviously, I’m expecting a shootout with star quarterbacks Kyler Murray and Will Grier going head to head.  The Sooners have more weapons and certainly a better rushing attack.
