Overview:
On Tuesday, October 31st, the (5-2) Detroit Pistons will be on the road to take on the (2-4) Los Angeles Lakers.
The Crowd:
“The Crowd” is projecting a final score of Lakers 104.0 – Pistons 97.9 with an over/under of 201.9.
Statistics (2017-18 season):
Point differential: Pistons +5.4 (9th) > Lakers -7.0 (24th)

Field Goal Percentage Offense: Pistons 45.6% (11th) > Lakers 45.0% (15th)
Three Point Percentage: Pistons 35.4% (15th) > Lakers 27.8% (30th)
Field Goal Percentage Defense: Pistons 45.5% (18th) = Lakers 45.5% (18th)

Turnovers forced per game: Pistons 17.6 (4th) > Lakers 16.3 (5th)
Rebounds per game: Lakers 45.5 (10th) > Pistons 42.3 (21st)
Assists per game: Lakers 22.3 (10th) > Pistons 21.1 (17th)
Bottom Line:
The Pistons (5-2) are off to a hot start and surprisingly sit atop the Eastern Conference. Detroit has won their last three games against the Lakers including both contests last season. The Pistons have done a great job taking care of the basketball leading the league in turnover rate. The Lakers (2-4) have one of the youngest rosters in the league and have struggled in the early portion of the season. The Lakers are one of the deeper teams in the NBA with eight players scoring in double digits. Lonzo Ball has impressed in the early portion of the season with his playmaking ability but they lack a go to scorer. The Pistons are the better team in nearly every statistical category and should win this one on the road.
