  • #1 Seeds advance to Elite 8 70%

.Kansas-12th straight conference champions. Senior leadership with Perry Ellis, great 1-2 backcourt combo with Frank Mason and Devonte Graham. Deepest team in the tournament. Will be tough to advance to the Final 4 with needed wins against Uconn, Cal & Miami to advance to the final 4 to set up a possible rematch vs Oklahoma.

.UNC- Comes into the tournament after winning their conference championship. Deep, balanced, and experienced. This team goes as far as Marcus Paige takes them.

.MSU- Best offensive team in the country. Senior leadership. Hard to bet against Izzo in March but it will be tough to beat Virginia three straight years.

.Oklahoma- Most experienced team. In three seasons they have had 5 starters. Player of the year candidate in Buddy Hield. Have a feeling they will be cutting down the nets.

.Kentucky- Not the same 34-0 team as last year. Defensive rebounding is highly suspect. Will have a tough road through Indiana and UNC to advance to the Elite 8. Excellent point guard in Tyler Ulis.  Being a 4 seed Vegas has them 11/1 odds to win it all.  That alone should tell you all you need to know

.WVU- Bobby Huggins will always have his team ready to play on the defensive side of the ball. Look for them to wear teams out with non-stop full court pressure. They will also lock down on the half court as well. No one in the East bracket wants to play them.

.Xavier- Team has it all. Great frontcourt that loves to hit the glass. Make sure you know where Myles Davis is at all times.

.Utah- Final 4 bound. They have a complete beast in Jakob Poeltl. Top 10 pick in the draft coming up. Buckle up.

.Purdue- Combo 7-foot centers A.J. Hammons and Isaac Haas add Caleb Swanigan= Match up nightmare for opposing teams.

.Cal- The Pac-12’s best defensive team just so happens to be the most talented team in the country. Scariest team in the tournament. Three first round picks in next year’s draft. Final 4 bound. Buckle up.
