Summary:

Washington still has a (2-1) series lead even after losing 116-98 on the road in game three.  Atlanta never trailed in the game and at one point was up by 25.  The Hawks were able to limit John Wall in transition and only turned the ball over 11 times.  Atlanta dominated the battle in the paint outscoring Washington 60-34.  Atlanta has the more potent frontcourt with Dwight Howard and Paul Millsap who are both capable of dominating on the interior.  For the series, Washington is averaging 107 points while Atlanta is averaging 108.  Wizards guard Bradley Beal has really struggled with his shot in this series which is concerning because he is Washington’s second leading scorer.  If Atlanta can limit their turnovers again and keep Washington out of transition, they should even the series.
