Summary:

Golden State now has a (2-0) series advantage after destroying San Antonio 136-100 at home.  The Spurs were forced to play without Kawhi Leonard who had to sit with an ankle injury.  Greg Popovich called out his team’s effort and heart after they allowed Golden State to shoot 56% from the field and rack up 39 assists.  Seven Warriors scored in double figures as they spread the scoring throughout.  The Warriors stingy defense held San Antonio to 37% shooting and only two Spurs scored in double figures.  The good news for the Spurs is the three days off give Leonard a decent chance of playing in game three though he certainly won’t be 100%.  For the playoffs, Golden State is averaging 117.1 points per game while allowing 100.1.  San Antonio is averaging 106.4 points per game and have allowed 103.4.  I expect the Spurs to dial up the defensive effort and play much better at home, though Golden State has too much offensive firepower for them to keep up.
