Summary:
Golden State now holds a (3-0) series advantage after grinding out a 118-113 win on the road in game two. Cleveland has to be kicking themselves having held the lead from midway through the third quarter up until the last minute of the game when the Warriors finished them off with an 11-0 run. The Warriors outrebounded the Cavaliers 44-37 and out-shot them 48% to 44%. Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Stephen Curry all scored 20 or more points. The most amazing stat from this game: Cleveland was +7 in the 46 minutes Lebron James played and -12 in the two minutes he sat. James, of course, was tremendous again with 39 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. Kyrie Irving was unstoppable attacking the basket with his 38 points. The Warriors have completely neutralized Tristan Thompson who had 0 points and 3 rebounds in 23 minutes. Cleveland shot just 27% from three-point range which is a huge problem when you take 44 shots from behind the line. After such a demoralizing loss, I believe the Warriors will blow out the Cavaliers in game four and finish off their perfect 16-0 playoff run with an NBA Championship.
