On Sunday, June 4th, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be on the road to take on the Golden State Warriors in game two of the 2017 NBA Finals.  The Warriors hold a (1-0) series advantage.

The Crowd:  

“The Crowd” is projecting a final score of Warriors 110.7 – Cavaliers 105.5 with an over/under of 216.2.

Summary:

Golden State now holds a (1-0) series advantage after defeating Cleveland 113-91 in game one.  The Warriors won by 22 points despite shooting only 42.5% from the field.  Cleveland was torched all night by second chance and transition offense.  Golden State dished out 31 assists and turned the ball over just 4 times.  The Cavaliers were terrible offensively shooting 34.9% and had 20 turnovers.  Kevin Durant was sensational for the Warriors with 38 points on 14-26 shooting and Stephen Curry added 28 of his own.  Even more concerning for the Cavaliers is that Klay Thompson and Draymond Green had off nights combining to shoot 6-28 from the field.  Lebron James had 28 points and 15 rebounds but turned the ball over 8 times.  Kevin Love had 15 points and 21 rebounds but shot 4-13.  Tristan Thompson was a complete non-factor with 0 points and 4 rebounds in 22 minutes.  Cleveland’s bench combined for just 21 total points most of which came in garbage time.  The Cavaliers have to slow down the pace and cut down their turnovers to have a shot going forward.  I expect the Warriors to shoot better and win game two at home.
