Summary:

Looking at the stats I was actually really surprised that the Cubs were not only ahead of the Mets in nearly every pitching category but also are leading all of baseball.  Mets’ star righty Jacob DeGrom has received the third worst run support in all of baseball (2.92). Cubs hitters are hitting a combined .285 off of DeGrom whereas John Lackey has held the Mets to a combined .235 average.  I agree with “The Crowd” expecting this to be a low scoring game with two very quality starting pitchers going head to head.  In the end I like the Cubs to take this one on the road because the Mets struggle to score for DeGrom.
