These teams are pretty evenly matched statistically but I give the edge to the Mets in this particular match-up because they have ace Jacob DeGrom on the mound.  Dodgers’ prized rookie Julio Urias is making his major league debut.  Urias has electric stuff but expectations should be kept realistic for his first start in the big leagues.   Mets’ outfielder Yoenis Cespedes leads the majors with 15 home runs and his hitting .429 against LHP this season. The Mets have been very solid at home this season and have done well in close games.  I’m taking the Mets to win Friday night with DeGrom on the hill.
