On Sunday, February, 7th at 2:00 P.M. the (32-16) Los Angeles Clippers will be on the road to take on the (27-22) Miami Heat. “The Crowd” projects a final score of Clippers 102.3 – Clippers 99.2 with an over/under of 201.4.  The Heat enter the game with a (16-9) home record while the Clippers are (15-9) on the road.  The Clippers have won 4 straight games while the Miami just dropped their 22nd game of the season.

Point differential: Clippers +4.0 (7th) Heat 0.0 (tied for 14th)

Points per game: Clippers 104.3 (7th) Heat 96.0 (28th)

Points allowed per game: Heat 96.0 (2nd) Clippers 100.3 (9th)

Field Goal Percentage Offense: Clippers 46.2% (4th) Heat 46.1% (6th)

Three Point Percentage: Clippers 36.4% (4th) Heat 32.7% (28th)

Free Throw Percentage: Heat 74.3% (23rd) Clippers 68.9% (28th)

Field Goal Percentage Defense: Clippers 43.7% (7th) Heat 43.8% (8th)

Turnovers committed per game: Clippers 12.5 (2nd) Heat 13.9 (12th)

Turnovers forced per game: Clippers 14.5 (10th) Heat 12.6 (26th)

Rebounds per game: Heat 42.8 (tied for 18th) Clippers 42.3 (24th)

Assists per game: Clippers 23 (8th) Heat 20.3 (26th)

The Clippers are (7-3) in their last 10 games whereas the Heat are (5-5).  Miami is an excellent defensive team ranking 2nd in fewest points allowed.  The Heat struggle to share the ball and spread the floor on offense.  The Clippers are one of the few teams that rank as a top 10 team in points scored and fewest points allowed. They are also one the best teams in regards to fewest turnovers.  Even without star forward Blake Griffin, I like the Clippers to win this one on the road.
