Summary:
Winnipeg is now (3-2-0) after winning a 41-40 shoot-out against the Montreal Alouettes. Winnipeg was trailing by 12 points with two minutes to go but they unleashed a furious comeback to narrowly pull out a victory. Winnipeg quarterback Matt Nichols threw for 358 yards and 2 touchdowns. Andrew Harris was a thorn in the side of the Montreal defense as he compiled 134 total yards and 2 touchdowns. Ottawa (1-4-1) has gotten off to a really slow start this season after winning last year’s Grey Cup. The Redblacks were on bye last week so they should be well rested for their home game with Winnipeg. With two weeks to game-plan for the Blue Bombers, I expect Ottawa to be well prepared. Winnipeg’s offense has scored over 30 points in three straight weeks but they’ve had trouble stopping the opposition. I like Ottawa to win by a field goal at home.
