Strength of schedule:
Colorado is (9-2) with wins over Colorado State, Idaho State, Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona State, Stanford, UCLA, Arizona, and Washington State. Their two losses came against USC and Michigan. Utah is (8-3) with wins over Southern Utah, BYU, San Jose State, USC, Arizona, Oregon State, UCLA, and Arizona State. They were defeated by California, Washington, and Oregon.
Summary:
Colorado comes into the game hot having won five straight games. They have been an underrated team for much of the season and have some real quality wins on their schedule. The Buffaloes have one of the best running backs in the country in Phillip Lindsay who ranks among the leaders with his 15 touchdowns. After a quick start to the season Utah has stumbled in recent weeks losing two of their last three games. Colorado ranks 32nd in scoring offense and 13th in scoring defense while Utah ranks 56th in scoring offense and 38th in scoring defense. Utah is strong at stuffing the run but have more than a few holes in their secondary. I like Colorado to win this one on their home field.
