Rushing defense: USC 139.5 YPG > UCLA 160.3 YPG

Turnover Margin Per Game: USC -0.1 > UCLA -0.2

Strength of schedule:

USC is (7-3) with wins over Washington, Utah State, Arizona State, Colorado, Arizona, California, and Oregon.  They were defeated by Alabama, Stanford, and Utah.  UCLA is (4-6) with wins over UNLV, BYU, Arizona, and Oregon State.  They lost to Texas A&M, Stanford, Washington State, Utah, and Colorado.

Summary:

UCLA is really in a tailspin having lost four of their last five games.  Despite their six losses the Bruins have been in every game with ten points being their largest margin of defeat.  UCLA has one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Josh Rosen who is throwing for over 300 yards per game.  Rosen should be able to put up big numbers against a questionable USC secondary.  Unfortunately, the UCLA offense is one dimensional, as they average the second fewest rushing yards per game in the country.

USC is on fire winning six straight including last week against a top five team in Washington.  Since USC made the change to Sam Darnold as their full time quarterback they have won six of their last seven.  Darnold is completing over 68% of his passes with 22 touchdowns to just 6 interceptions.  USC is playing great football right now and I like them to beat UCLA on the road.
