Summary:
USC was obliterated by number one Alabama in week one but they bounced back nicely with a convincing win over Utah State. Max Browne has the makings of a solid quarterback and he has plenty of weapons on offense. Juju Smith-Schuster is a beast at the wide receiver position. Alabama gashed USC’s defense for 52 points but they do have a few nice players on that side of the ball. Corner Adoree Jackson is a preseason All-American.
Stanford is still the class of the Big 12 even though they lost their quarterback Kevin Hogan to the NFL. Running back Christian McCaffrey is one of the Heisman trophy frontrunners this year and can beat you in a multitude of ways. Stanford is always strong along the offensive line and they return enough pieces on defense to be one of the better units in college football. Stanford has owned USC in recent memory and I expect that to continue Saturday.
