Summary:

This is a great pitching match-up and should end up being a pretty low scoring game.  I was surprised to see St. Louis has the second most errors because they are usually known for being one of the better defensive teams in baseball.  Cubs starter Jon Lester has held St. Louis hitters to a combined .270 average against.

Cardinals starter Carlos Martinez has held Cubs hitters to a combined .256 average against.  St. Louis actually holds a (5-4) series advantage this year despite the Cubs outscoring them 41-35.  Six of the nine head to head games have been decided by two runs or fewer so I expect that trend to continue with the Cubs winning a close one.
