The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Seahawks 25.9 – Packers 23.0 with an over/under of 48.9.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Seahawks 24.5 – Packers 22.0 with an over/under of 46.5.

2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Packers 360.2 (13th) > Seahawks 357.9 (15th)

Points per game: Packers 24.6 (11th) > Seahawks 22.0 (20th)

Turnover margin: Seahawks +6 > Packers -5

Fewest yards allowed per game: Seahawks 330.2 (8th) > Packers 347.2 (13th)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Seahawks 16.2 (1st) > Packers 25.2 (23rd)

Summary:

Seattle comes into the game (4-1) in their last five games whereas Green Bay is just (2-3).  Seattle has the number one defense in the league in terms of fewest points allowed.  The Seahawks suffered a huge loss in all-pro safety Earl Thomas who broke his leg in last week’s game.  Still, Seattle has more than enough to create pressure on a shaky Green Bay offensive line.  Green Bay has struggled with ball security and that could prove costly against a Seahawks defense that thrives on forcing turnovers.  Seattle has won three of their last four head to head games with Green Bay.  Green Bay is (4-2) at home while Seattle is (2-3-1) on the road.  I like Seattle’s defense to carry them to victory in this one.
