Summary:
San Antonio is (6-4) in their last ten head to head meetings with the Clippers. The Spurs are (8-2) in their last ten games whereas the Clippers are (6-4). Los Angeles was dealt a huge blow when it was announced forward Blake Griffin will miss 3-6 weeks with minor knee surgery. Obviously, they will have a hard time replacing Griffin’s 21.2 PPG and 8.8 rebounds. The Spurs own the NBA’s best road record at (13-1) while the Clippers are (9-4) at home. At full health the Clippers look to be the better team on paper but they are going to struggle to score points and especially on the glass. I like the Spurs to take advantage of Griffin’s absence and win this one on the road.
