Turnover Margin Per Game: Texas A&M +0.8 > Ole Miss -0.1
Strength of schedule:
Texas A&M is (7-2) with wins over UCLA, Prairie View A&M, Auburn, Arkansas, South Carolina, Tennessee, and New Mexico State. They were defeated by Alabama and Mississippi State. Ole Miss is (4-5) with wins over Wofford, Georgia, Memphis, and Georgia Southern. They were defeated by Florida State, Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, and Auburn.
Summary:
This is a really interesting game because both teams have lost their starting quarterback for the remainder of the season. If you look at the numbers Ole Miss was much more reliant on their quarterback Chad Kelly for their overall team success. Texas A&M has more balance offensively as they already were reliant on a strong running game. Defensively Texas A&M has a huge advantage and they have the best player in the country in defensive end Myles Garrett. Ole Miss lost every time they faced a big conference opponent this season and I expect that to remain the same. I think this will be a low scoring game because of the uncertainty surrounding both teams at the quarterback position. I like Texas A&M to come out on top on their home field.
