Strength of schedule:
Ohio State is (9-1) with wins over Nebraska, Maryland, Bowling Green, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rutgers, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Northwestern. Their only loss came at the road against Penn State. Michigan State is (3-7) with wins over Furman, Notre Dame, and Rutgers. They were defeated by Wisconsin, Indiana, BYU, Northwestern, Maryland, Michigan, and Illinois.
Summary:
Ohio State has this game circled three times on their calendar after their embarrassing loss in Columbus a year ago. Michigan State is having a lousy season but they have been in every single game except for the one against Wisconsin. Knocking off a top five Ohio State team again would make the season for Michigan State but I wouldn’t count on it this time around. Ohio State ranks as a top three team both offensively and defensively. The Buckeyes offense seems to have figured out what ailed them early in the year scoring 62 points in back to back weeks. I like Ohio State to get revenge for last year and win big in East Lansing.
