Summary:
Oakland suffered a huge blow when quarterback Derek Carr suffered a gruesome leg injury that ended his season. Carr had a compelling case for NFL most valuable player throwing for nearly 4,000 yards and 28 touchdowns to just 6 interceptions. Filling in for Carr will be Matt McGloin who is just (1-5) as a starter in his career. Carr’s loss is monumental and they will be facing the elite defense of the Denver Broncos. Denver has dominated this match-up going (8-2) in their last ten head to head games. The Broncos have really been struggling going just (1-4) in their last five games. The Broncos have stated that both Trevor Simian and Paxton Lynch could see time at quarterback against Oakland. This could spell disaster as two quarterback systems never seem to work. I expect a really low scoring game with quarterback issues prominent for both teams. I’ll take Denver by a field goal at home.
