Summary:

Boston is (8-5) against the Yankees this season and have outscored them 58-50 in those games.  Red Sox starter Drew Pomeranz has held Yankees hitters to a combined .211 average against but in a small sample size since he was recently traded.  Yankees starter C.C. Sabathia has held Red Sox hitters to a combined .232 average against in a huge sample size.  These teams usually play each other tough as evidenced by the close run differential.  Neither team has had much success against the opposing teams starter so this could come down to the bullpen where Boston has the advantage.  I’m taking Boston at home to win this one.
