2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Giants 396.7 (6th) > Vikings 265.3 (31st)

Points per game: Vikings 21.3 (tied for 20th) > Giants 21.0 (22nd)

Turnover margin: Vikings +8 > Giants -6

Fewest yards allowed per game: Vikings 295.0 (6th) > Giants 339.7 (10th)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Vikings 13.3 (3rd) > Giants 20.3 (14th)

Summary:

Minnesota has the best turnover margin in the NFL so it’s no surprise that they are (3-0) to start the season.  The Giants offense has struggled early on and they have turned the ball over way too much.  This could be troublesome against a top 3 defense in Minnesota that’s clicking on all cylinders.  Vikings quarterback Sam Bradford is playing at a high level despite only being with the team for a few weeks.  Minnesota was dealt a huge blow when star running back Adrian Peterson suffered another major knee injury.  This should be a low scoring game and that favors Minnesota playing at home.
