Summary:

New England is tied for the best record in the NFL at (13-2) and are in the midst of a six-game winning streak.  Both Bill Belichek and Tom Brady seemed to indicate that the Patriots would not be resting their starters in this game despite having clinched a playoff berth.  Since Tom Brady returned from suspension the Patriots are averaging 29.5 points per game.  Miami has been playing great winning nine of their last ten games.  Head coach Adam Gase has yet to rule out quarterback Ryan Tannehill who is recovering from a knee injury.  It’s doubtful Tannehill will play but Matt Moore has done a nice job filling in.  The Dolphins have won all three games Moore has played in and he has a respectable 6/2 touchdown to interception ratio.

New England has won three of the last five head to head games with Miami.  The Dolphins are (6-1) at home while New England is a perfect (7-0) on the road.  The Patriots hold the advantage in nearly every major statistical category.  New England (+170) has the best turnover margin in the NFL while Miami (+4) ranks near the middle of the pack.  Ultimately I think the Patriots will win this one by a touchdown and Brady will cement his case as the NFL’s most valuable player.
