Summary:

North Carolina is (3-2) in their last five games while NC State is (4-1).  The statistics favor North Carolina in nearly every category.  The Tar Heels have a big edge defensively and on the glass as well.  NC State is a very dangerous offensive team as they have five players averaging double figure points.  Dennis Smith Jr. is having an excellent season averaging nearly 20 points per game.  I think this will be a close game because these teams are pretty evenly matched.  With two of the top 20 teams in terms of scoring this should be an up-tempo shoot-out.  I like North Carolina to win this one at home where they are (9-1) to start the season.
