Summary:

After a slow start to their season Portland has turned it around and find themselves currently with the eight seed.  The Trailblazers are (8-2) in their last ten games while Minnesota is floundering going just (3-7).  Portland has stepped of their defense allowing 101.7 points in their last ten which is well below their season average of 109.1 PPG.  The Trailblazers suffered a huge loss when center Jusef Nurkic suffered a season ending leg injury.  Nurkic played a huge role in protecting the rim and the Trailblazers don’t really have another true center with any defensive presence.  Minnesota defeated Portland 110-109 on their home floor Monday night.  Overall Portland have won six of their last eight head to head games with the Timberwolves.  Minnesota has really struggled on the road going (11-25).  This should be another high scoring game and I like Portland to win at home.
