Strength of schedule:

Miami is (4-2) with wins over Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic, Appalachian State, and Georgia Tech.  They were defeated by Florida State and North Carolina.  Virginia Tech is (4-2) with wins over Liberty, Boston College, East Carolina, and North Carolina.  Their two losses came against Tennessee and Syracuse.

Summary:

These teams line up so evenly when you look at the numbers.  Miami has played an easy schedule thus far and lost their only real tests of the season against Florida State and North Carolina.  Virginia Tech did beat North Carolina albeit in hurricane conditions.  Virginia tech also has a stunning loss where Syracuse blew them out.  Miami has the better quarterback and I think that will play a key role in a game that could come down to the last possession.  Miami has yet to have a signature win and I think they get it this week on the road.
