Summary:

Wisconsin led the nation last season in fewest points allowed per game.  They lost some key players on defense so I wouldn’t expect them to repeat last year’s performance.  In 2015 Wisconsin rushed for a meager 3.8 yards per attempt which was their lowest total in 12 years.  To win this game Wisconsin will have to run the ball effectively, limit the turnovers, and severely win the possession battle.

LSU has arguably the best player in all of college football in running back Leonard Fournette.  Fournette will put up enormous numbers though he is running behind an inexperienced offensive line.  LSU’s defense is chalk full of NFL talent, including safety Jamal Adams, who will surely be a first-round pick.  LSU might have the best defense in the nation this year so I think they should have no trouble shutting down Wisconsin.
