Strength of schedule:
LSU is (6-4) with wins over Jacksonville State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. Their losses came against Florida, Wisconsin, Auburn, and Alabama. Texas A&M is (8-3) with wins over UCLA, Prairie View A&M, Auburn, Arkansas, South Carolina, Tennessee, New Mexico State, and Texas San Antonio. They were defeated by Ole Miss, Alabama, and Texas A&M.
Summary:
After starting the season (6-0) Texas A&M have lost three of their last five games. Texas A&M is really banged up at quarterback with starter Trevor Knight and backup Jake Hubenak nursing shoulder injuries. The Aggies have not fared well in Knight’s absence and seem to be trending in the wrong direction. LSU suffered yet another close loss at home to Florida last week. The Tigers were without their best player running back Leornard Fournette for most of the game but have a more than capable backup in Derrius Guice. LSU struggles to throw the ball but Texas A&M is very susceptible to the pass. If LSU takes care of the ball they should win this one on the road.
