“The Crowd” projects a final score of Titans 24.3 – Jaguars 21.0 with an over/under of 45.4.  The Vegas Line has a final score of Titans 25.0 – Jaguars 21.5 with an over/under of 46.5.

2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):

Yards per game: Titans 361.1 (14th) > Jaguars 324.0 (27th)

Points per game: Titans 20.9 (20th) > Jaguars 19.5 (24th)

Turnover margin: Titans -4 > Jaguars -7

Fewest yards allowed per game: Jaguars 325.2 (9th) > Titans 338.0 (10th)

Fewest Points allowed per game: Titans 23.0 (17th) > Jaguars 26.7 (25th)

Summary:

Tennessee has looked like a much-improved team on both sides of the ball this year.  Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is showing continued improvement though he needs to cut down his turnovers (11 in 6 games).  Jacksonville has taken a quantum leap defensively they rank in the top ten in fewest yards allowed.  The Jaguars redzone defense is awful which is why they rank in the bottom third in points allowed.  The Jacksonville offense has been snake bitten by turnovers all season which is a direct correlation to their low offensive point totals.  I like Tennessee to win this one at home.
