Overview:

On Saturday, July 8th, the (0-1-0) Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be on the road to take on the (0-2-0) Saskatchewan Roughriders.

 The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of Saskatchewan 29.9 – Hamilton 25.8 with an over/under of 55.8.

2016 Statistics (9 total teams):

Point differential: Saskatchewan -4 (tied for 7th) > Hamilton -17 (9th)

Points per game: Saskatchewan 28.0 (4th) > Hamilton 15.0 (9th)

Points allowed per game: Saskatchewan 30.0 (5th) > Hamilton 32.0 (6th)

Yards per game: Saskatchewan 399.0 (5th) > Hamilton 258.0 (9th)

Yards allowed per game: Saskatchewan 381.0 (3rd) > Hamilton 545.0 (9th)

Summary:

Saskatchewan falls to (0-2-0) after losing to Winnipeg 43-40 in overtime.  Saskatchewan quarterback Kevin Glenn completed 73.5% of his passes for 377 and 4 touchdowns in the loss.  Glenn is tied for the league lead in touchdown passes (5) and interceptions (3).  The Roughriders offense is too one dimensional as they managed just 19 total rushing yards.  Hamilton didn’t play in week two but lost to Toronto 32-15 in week one.  The Tiger-Cats defense was shredded for 545 yards and their offense had trouble getting into the end-zone.  Hamilton’s was atrocious in week one and can’t play any worse.  The Roughriders offense is greatly improved from a year ago but their defense is still putrid.  I think Hamilton will regroup and win by a field goal.
