Strength of schedule:

Alabama is (12-0) with wins over USC, Western Kentucky, Ole Miss, Kent State, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU, Mississippi State, Chattanooga, and Auburn.  Florida is (8-3) with wins over UMass, Kentucky, North Texas, Vanderbilt, Missouri, Georgia, South Carolina, and LSU.  They were defeated by Tennessee, Arkansas, and Florida State.

Summary:

Alabama enters the game with the longest current winning streak in college football at 24 consecutive games.  Both teams are banged up and have suffered key injuries over the last few weeks.  This figures to be a low scoring game with two of the top five defenses in college football going head to head.  Alabama has a major edge offensively averaging over 15 points per game more than Florida.  Alabama leads the nation in fewest rushing yards allowed per game so Florida will have to attack through the air if they want any shot.  Florida has an elite defense but ultimately won’t be able to muster enough points to keep up with Alabama.
