Summary:

Cleveland absolutely dominated this match-up a year ago going (14-4) against the Tigers while outscoring them 106-71.  Indians hitters have had success versus Tigers starter Daniel Norris combining for a .273 batting average against.  Cleveland will start either Trevor Bauer or Corey Kluber both of whom Detroit have hit well.  Detroit hitters have a .323 average off of Bauer and a .279 average against Kluber.  Miguel Cabrera has notoriously killed Cleveland pitching hitting .387 against them in nearly 200 at bats over the last three seasons.  Because of their lack of effectiveness against the opposition, I expect both starters to be knocked out of the game early.  The Indians have a much better bullpen than the Tigers with the likes Andrew Miller, Brian Shaw, and Cody Allen.  Francisco Lindor is off to a hot start in April leading the Indians in batting average (.308), home runs (4), and runs batted in (8).  Cleveland was an excellent (53-28) at home a season ago and I expect them to continue their dominance over the Tigers.
