Summary:
Cleveland has jumped out to a (2-0) lead in the ALCS after holding the vaunted Blue Jays lineup to just one run in the first two games. Indians starter Trevor Bauer has held Blue Jays hitters to a combined .257 average against. Bauer is capable of pitching like an ace when he’s on but a pinky injury may hinder that. Bauer can suffer from suspect control at times as he is usually among the league leaders in walks.
Toronto will turn to Marcus Stroman who has held Indians batters to a combined .218 average against. Cleveland pitching has been masterful so far and they have Toronto hitters complaining about the strike zone. I think Toronto’s offense is too potent to hold down for an entire series, so I think they’ll bounce back and win game three at home.
