Summary:
The Bengals are coming off their bye week and have had two weeks to prepare for the division rival Steelers. Cincinnati has been totally inept offensively this season but have allowed the second fewest points of any team (16.6). The Bengals (+1) rank 18th in the NFL in point differential. Pittsburgh is coming off an impressive 19-13 road victory over previously undefeated Kansas City. After some early season struggles, Pittsburgh proved they are still amongst the NFL’s elite. Ben Roethlisberger was 17-25 for 252 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Le’Veon Bell was the star of this game with 179 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries. Antonio Brown also had a monster game with 8 catches for 155 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, Pittsburgh has allowed the fourth fewest points (17.0) of any team. The Steelers (+16) rank 9th in the NFL in point differential.
Bottom Line:
The Steelers have won four straight games over Cincinnati. These teams tend to play close games as four of the last five head to head meetings have been decided by 8 or fewer points. Pittsburgh and Cincinnati are comparable defensively, but the Steelers have the better offensive line and playmakers. The Steelers will prove once again why they are the class of the AFC North.
