2016-17 Statistics (32 total teams):
Yards per game: Cowboys 354.0 (15th) > Bears 271.0 (31st)
Points per game: Cowboys 23.0 (15th) > Bears 14.0 (30th)
Turnover margin: Cowboys +1 > Bears -3
Fewest yards allowed per game: Bears 312.0 (9th) > Cowboys 374.0 (18th)
Fewest Points allowed per game: Cowboys 21.5 (13th) > Bears 26.0 (24th)
Summary:
Chicago’s defense has been respectable this year but they are on the field the whole game because their offense is terrible. On top of that Bears quarterback Jay Cutler has a sprained thumb and is questionable for the game. Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott has been impressive in Tony Romo’s absence. Look for Dallas to give a heavy workload to rookie tailback Ezekiel Elliott. Dallas will wear down the Chicago defense with their huge offensive line and stable of running backs. I think this game will be low-scoring but Dallas is a virtual lock at home.
