Summary:

Oakland is rolling right now having won four straight and seven of their last eight.  Their offense has been a top ten unit all season.  Quarterback Derek Carr has been brilliant and might be the early MVP favorite.  The Raiders defense has quietly climbed the rankings after starting the season slowly.  After starting the season (1-5) Carolina has rebounded to win three of their last four.  Quarterback Cam Newton is finally healthy after dealing with various injuries early in the season.  Panthers star linebacker Luke Kuechly will likely miss the game due to a concussion.  Carolina has been awful at taking care of the football whereas Oakland has been one of the best in that category.  Oakland is playing tremendous right now and should win this one at home.
