Summary:
Boston is playing tremendous going (9-1) in their last ten games while Chicago is just (4-6). Chicago has gone (6-4) in their last ten head to head meetings with Boston including winning the last three at home. Boston holds the statistical advantage in most of the offensive categories but the Bulls rank 7th in fewest points allowed (103.0). The Bulls are the worst perimeter shooting team in the NBA so they will have to limit the amount of threes for Boston to keep this one close. The one distinct advantage for Chicago is on the glass where they average over five rebounds per game more than the Celtics. The Bulls have defended Isaiah Thomas well this season holding him to just 24 points per game well below his season average of 29.8. Boston ranks 23rd in blocks per game so Chicago should be able to take advantage on the interior. I like the Bulls to win a close one at home.
