Overview:

On Saturday, July 15th, the (2-1-0) BC Lions will be on the road to take on the (0-2-0) Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

 The Crowd:

“The Crowd” projects a final score of BC 27.4 – Hamilton 24.8 with an over/under of 52.2.

2017 Statistics (9 total teams):

Point differential: BC +17 (2nd) > Hamilton -34 (9th)

Points per game: BC 26.0 (6th) > Hamilton 17.5 (8th)

Points allowed per game: BC 20.3 (1st) > Hamilton 34.5 (9th)

Yards per game: BC 379.7 (6th) > Hamilton 258.0 (9th)

Yards allowed per game: BC 367.7 (3rd) > Hamilton 545.0 (9th)

Summary:

BC is now (2-1-0) after defeating Montreal 23-16 on the road.  Montreal’s defense had trouble containing Lions running back Jeremiah Johnson who compiled 102 total yards and two touchdowns.  BC continued their dominance on the defensive side of the ball as they lead the league in fewest points allowed (20.3 PPG).  Hamilton remains winless after getting blown out 37-20 by Saskatchewan.  The Tiger-Cats defense has been atrocious this season ranking last in points allowed (34.5 PPG) and yards allowed (545.0 YPG).  Unfortunately for Hamilton, their offense has also struggled to score ranking 8th in points per game (17.5 PPG).  BC has the advantage in every measurable category and should win this one by a large margin on the road.
