Summary:

The BC Lions are coming off their bye week and have had two weeks to prepare for their game against the Calgary Stampeders.  BC is averaging 21.6 points per game (7th) and allowing 27.6 (7th).  The Lions are (0-3) on the road this season with a (-45) point differential.  Calgary is the lone remaining undefeated team (6-0-0) in the CFL this season.  The Stampeders are averaging 29.8 points per game (2nd) and they rank 1st in points allowed (11.3).  Calgary traveled to Saskatchewan in week seven and defeated the Roughriders 34-22.  The Stampeders jumped out to a 24-0 lead in the first quarter and were able to hold off a late Roughriders comeback.  Saskatchewan outgained Calgary 247-242 in total yardage and dominated time of possession.  Four fumbles crippled the Saskatchewan offense and killed their field position.  Calgary quarterback Bo-Levi Mitchell completed 18-24 passes for 187 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception in the victory.

Bottom Line:

The Stampeders are clicking on all cylinders right now and are the superior team in nearly every statistical category.  The Lions have struggled to score points all year and will be going up against the number one defense in the league.  I would be shocked if this game didn’t result in a Calgary blowout.
