Summary:

The Yankees enter the game 3^rd in the league in runs per game (5.46) and 4^th in team earned run average (3.71).  Baltimore ranks 17^th in runs per game (4.54) and 19^th in team ERA (4.35).  The Yankees are (5-5) in their last ten games while the Orioles are (6-4). Orioles have gone (5-4) in their head to head games with the Yankees this season despite being outscored 60-52 in those ten games.  Orioles starter Chris Tillman (1-3, 5.59) has struggled in the early portion of the season.  The Yankees hitters are batting a combined .297 off Tillman in 118 at-bats.  Yankees starter Luis Severino (4-2, 2.90) has pitched very well thus far.  Severino has held Orioles hitters to a combined .220 average against in 100 at-bats.  The Yankees are (18-9) at home this season whereas the Orioles are just (10-16) on the road.  New York as a huge advantage in this pitching match-up and should be able to score early and often off of Tillman.  The Yankees bullpen is obviously weaker without Aroldis Chapman but Dellin Betances has been excellent in his absence.  Luis Severino has pitched five or more innings in all but one start this season so I like the Yankees to win this one at home.
