Statistics (2016-17 season):

Point differential: UCLA 17.6 PPG > Arizona 13.6 PPG

Summary:

UCLA is perhaps the most explosive offensive team in the country.  They lead the nation in field goal percentage (53.2%), assists per game (22.1), and rank 3rd in points per game (92.9).  Arizona’s strength is on the defensive end where they rank 12th in fewest points allowed per game (61.6).  For a team that likes to “run and gun” as much as UCLA their low turnover numbers are impressive.  The Bruins have five players averaging at least 13 points per game compared to just one for Arizona.  I think Arizona’s defense can slow down the high-powered UCLA offense but ultimately they won’t be able to score enough to win this one on the road.
