Rushing defense: Georgia 118.2 YPG > Auburn 125.9 YPG
Turnover Margin Per Game: Georgia +0.6 > Auburn +0.2
Strength of schedule:
Auburn is (7-2) with wins over Arkansas State, LSU, Louisiana Monroe, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt. Their losses came against two ranked teams in Clemson and Texas A&M. Georgia is (5-4) with wins over UNC, Nicholls, Missouri, South Carolina, and Kentucky. They were defeated by Ole Miss, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Florida.
Summary:
After losing two of their first three games Auburn has won six straight games. They have one of the best power backs in the country in Kamryn Pettway but he is questionable for the game due to an injury. Georgia enters the game having lost four of their last six games. Auburn ranks as a top ten defense but they have a very questionable secondary. Unfortunately, the strength of Georgia is running the ball with their star Nick Chubb. Georgia will have to get a star performance from their freshman quarterback Jacob Eason to have a chance on the road. Ultimately I don’t think Georgia will be able to score enough points against a tough Auburn defense to win this game.
