Rushing defense: Wisconsin 102.9 YPG > Nebraska 124.4 YPG
Turnover Margin Per Game: Nebraska +0.7 > Wisconsin -0.1
Strength of schedule:
Nebraska is (7-0) with wins over Fresno State, Wyoming, Oregon, Northwestern, Illinois, Indiana, and Purdue. Wisconsin is (5-2) with wins over LSU, Akron, Georgia State, and Michigan State. Their two losses were against top ten teams in Ohio State and Michigan.
Summary:
Nebraska enters the game as one of the few remaining undefeated teams though they haven’t played the toughest schedule to date. Many of Nebraska’s games have been close in fact they were lucky to win a few of those. Wisconsin has played a brutal schedule so far and there’s no shame in losing by seven points to the class of the Big Ten (Ohio State and Michigan). Nebraska is the better team offensively but they have yet to face a defense the caliber of Wisconsin. The Badgers have an elite defense and have held every opponent but Ohio State to 17 or fewer points. I like Wisconsin to win at home.
