Strength of schedule:
Baylor is (6-2) with wins over Northwestern State, SMU, Rice, Oklahoma State, Iowa State, and Kansas. Their losses came versus TCU and Texas. Oklahoma is (7-2) with wins over Louisiana Monroe, TCU, Texas, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Kansas, and Iowa State.
Summary:
Baylor got destroyed by TCU last week allowing 62 points. Now they have to travel to Norman to take on a red-hot Oklahoma team that has won their last six games. Oklahoma ranks as a top ten offensive team and they will look to take advantage of a suddenly suspect Baylor defense. Controversy is surrounding the Baylor program as all-time leading rusher Shock Linwood is suspended for shoving an assistant coach during the blowout loss to TCU. The loss of Linwood certainly stings as Baylor relies heavily on the running game for their balanced offensive attack. This should be a classic Big 12 shoot-out with Oklahoma coming out victorious at home.
