Summary:

Georgia threw wads of cash at head coach Kirby Smart to lure him away from Alabama.  Much of Georgia’s success on offense will be predicated on star running back Nick Chubb making a full recovery from a gruesome knee injury.  Georgia’s quarterback Greyson Lambert was 10-2 as a starter although he didn’t put up huge numbers.  The Bulldogs return their entire secondary and should be one of the better defensive units in the country again.

North Carolina is led by running back Elijah Hood who rushed for 1,463 yards and 17 touchdowns last season.  UNC has no trouble scoring as they have averaged over 30 for the last four seasons.  The Tar Heels problems again come from their defense who was completely shredded by the run last year.  Playing at the Georgia Dome will be a big advantage for the Bulldogs and I think their stingy defense will lead them to victory.
