Rushing defense: Miami 125.8 YPG > North Carolina 228.8 YPG

Turnover Margin Per Game: Miami +0.5 > North Carolina -0.6

Strength of schedule:

North Carolina is (4-2) with wins over Florida State, Illinois, James Madison, and Pittsburgh.  They were defeated by Georgia and Virginia tech.  Miami is (4-1) with wins over Florida A&M, Florida Atlantic, Appalachian State, and Georgia Tech.  Their lone defeat came last week by one point against Florida State.

Summary:

Miami has played an easy schedule thus far and lost their only real test of the season at home against Florida State.  Still the Hurricanes rank as a top five defensive team and their offense is nothing to overlook.  North Carolina struggled last week in an embarrassing home loss to Virginia Tech albeit in hurricane conditions.  UNC really struggles to run the football and a one-dimensional offense is not the way to beat Miami.  I expect North Carolina to put up some points but still lose by double digits.
