2016-17 Statistics (127 total teams):

Rushing offense: Georgia 195.6 YPG > Florida 181.8 YPG
Scoring offense: Florida 30.3 PPG > Georgia 25.1 PPG
Scoring defense: Florida 12.0 PPG > Georgia 26.4 PPG
Passing defense: Florida 132.8 YPG > Georgia 228.6 YPG
Rushing defense: Georgia 111.1 YPG > Florida 119.7 YPG
Turnover Margin Per Game: Georgia +0.8 > Florida +0.7
Strength of schedule:
Florida enters the game (5-1) with wins over UMass, Kentucky, North Texas, Vanderbilt, and Missouri. Their only loss came against a ranked team in Tennessee. Georgia is (4-3) with wins over North Carolina, Nicholls, Missouri, and South Carolina. They were defeated by Vanderbilt and two ranked opponents in Ole Miss and Tennessee.
Summary:
Georgia comes into the game having lost three of their last four games. Their defense has been struggling and barely ranks inside the top 60. The Bulldogs are strong against the run but Florida should be able to expose their weak secondary. Georgia has one of the best running backs in the country in Nick Chubb but he may find yards hard to come by against a Florida defense that ranks second in the country. I think Florida’s defense will lead them to victory on the road in a hostile environment.
