Rushing defense: Michigan State 72.3 YPG > Wisconsin 82.3 YPG
Turnover Margin Per Game: Michigan State +2.0 > Wisconsin 0.0
Summary:
Both teams are built around a strong defense and running the football behind a big powerful offensive line. Wisconsin was able to successfully stop the run against LSU but they will face another tall task with Michigan State. Michigan’s Sate’s defense has been burned through the air this year so Wisconsin will look to take advantage of that. Michigan State has been one of the best teams at taking care of the ball this year so they will look to run the ball and chew clock. These teams are so even on both sides of the ball that one play could determine the outcome. Ultimately I like Michigan State to win playing at home.
