Summary:

UC Davis was impressive in their gritty “First Four” victory over N.C. Central.  UC Davis showed they can win against superior competition but playing Kansas is a whole different animal.  Kansas is (8-2) in their last ten games while UC Davis is (7-3).  Kansas was (5-2) against ranked opponents this season while UC Davis didn’t play against any.  Kansas averages nearly 12 points per game more than UC Davis who doesn’t even crack 70.  Jayhawks guard Frank Mason III should win the national player of the year after averaging 20.8 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists.  Kansas will have a big size advantage on the interior not to mention the Jayhawks are one of the best perimeter shooting teams in the country.  Kansas should win this game without much trouble.
