Statistics (9 total teams):

Both Edmonton and Saskatchewan are (0-1) after dropping their opening game of the season.  Edmonton’s (-8) point differential ranks in the middle of the pack whereas Saskatchewan (-13) is near the bottom of the league.  Edmonton ranks 1st in points per game (37) but last in fewest points allowed (45).  SSK ranks last in points per game (17) and 8th in fewest points allowed (30).

Summary:

Edmonton is coming off a 45-37 loss versus Ottawa in week one of the CFL season.  SSK was defeated 30-17 by Toronto in week two.  Both teams’ stats are inflated because they have only played one game.  Reigning champion Edmonton is thought to have a huge advantage versus an SSK team that was the worst team last year.  Edmonton should roll at home this week.
